This French tradition, which has been going on for years, is now recognized throughout the world!

This abundance of art and culture has allowed this country to rise among the greatest. How about having a perfect elopement in one of the most beautiful museums of our civilization, surrounded by paintings by the most prestigious artists of the last few centuries? Wouldn't that be great? You might as well head to the magnificent Loire Valley castles, where you'd admire the Château de Chambord, a marvelous jewel of the Renaissance; place where Francis I and Louis XIV stayed.

An elopement day on a small French island, where ancient know-how mixes, such as the cultivation of salt, wine and oysters. Your love celebrated on a beach on the island, while you cross the small country roads with your bikes, to go for an oyster and wine tasting with the artisans and go back to your evening venue, where you will dance the night away, lit by the dim lights of the garlands. Doesn't that make you dream?

For sailors – experienced or amateur – I choose to show you a little corner where we are between land and sea. Yport & Fécamp (and their neighbour Étretat), are beaching ports. Of course, you can taste certain dishes with iodine flavors, such as shellfish, fresh fish... But also pork stir-fry in cider or buckwheat pancakes!

This lake with its very peculiar, almost unique appearance is a geological setting: it is a rare place where you can observe the remains of the three geological eras in the same place!
