Based in the South of France, I love spending time on the road searching for the perfect locations to elope quietly. My name is Antoine, and I specialize in elopements and intimate weddings in France and Europe. Photographing elopements and weddings around the world is a privilege few have, and I am thrilled to witness the love two people share, surrounded by breathtaking landscape.

For this first step, it's essential to be in a quiet place. Now, without Instagram, Pinterest, or other social media, think about your elopement. Where does your mind wander? Where does your elopement take place? It could be in relation to something you've seen before, or a trip…

The second step will allow you to delve a little deeper. First, write down what you saw and felt. Whether it's just a few words or a detailed paragraph, the answers are always valid! Let yourself go!

Now that we know where to go, I suggest you close your eyes and fully visualize the experience. Is there one—or more—place(s) that would be suitable for reading your wishes? You don't have to eliminate all the places, don't worry. If several places remain, that's perfectly fine. Separate the locations and consider them one by one.

At this final stage, the list needs to be very detailed! But you'll have to choose just one location… Try to think about the logistics, the events that might be happening on your chosen date… Use a process of elimination, and that’s it!

The country is full of magnificent landscapes, an incredible gastronomic and wine culture… Eloping in France is a sure thing! Ireland, nicknamed the Emerald Isle, is a country to remember! If you like Guinness (about a million pints drunk every day) and scenery worthy of dramatic films, this island is for you. Between the wind, the cliffs, and the beer, the experience will be unforgettable!
united kingdom
A country comprised of several nations, each with its own particularities. One thing they all have in common? Tea. A true institution, so please, drink it well! Otherwise, it's a country steeped in history and rich culture, and we'd love to enjoy some fish and chips before leaving.

Spain is a producer of artists, architectural and culinary culture: you've surely heard of Pablo Picasso, the Sagrada Familia, and tapas. Bonus: celebrate your elopement on the day of la fiesta de la Tomatina: it will be an unforgettable memory, I guarantee it!
Portugal
Portugal… World-renowned for its Pastel de Nata, this country on the Iberian Peninsula is a marvel to visit. Perfect for surfers who love big waves, Portugal will also enchant you with its culture and landscapes. Did you know that the University of Coimbra is one of the oldest in Europe? In fact, the robes worn by Hogwarts students originated from Portuguese academic attire!

So much to say about this country… If you don't like to eat (which I doubt), Italy isn't for you. An elopement in Italy is built around two days: one for eating, and the other for activities! Relaxation? Consider the Puglia region or Sardinia. Culture & Fashion? Central Italy! And if you're an athlete, the Dolomites will satisfy you.

For those who would like to elope in the land of the Olympian gods, it's a big YES. The landscapes are diverse: between the remains of ancient Greek architecture and the numerous paradisiacal islands, there's plenty to do! Adventure, relaxation, cuisine… A Greek-style elopement!

Choose your date carefully; in summer, the sun will be with you throughout your elopement, but the only thing you might see in summer is the Northern Lights <3

A land of ice and fire, populated by mystical creatures, Iceland is a truly unique island. The landscapes are breathtaking, and with over 120 active volcanoes, an elopement in Iceland is perfect for couples with a fiery spirit who love venturing into remote corners of the world.

Switzerland has an indecent number of incredible views. Between its 1,500 lakes and 48 peaks over 4,000 meters high!
Your elopement in Switzerland can be done by train, and it's a truly unique experience: you could arrive at the highest train station in Europe. Getting married in Switzerland is an amazing experience (don't forget the raclette and fondue. And the chocolate).
germany
Germany is often forgotten when talking about landscapes, but this country has some very beautiful regions! You'll appreciate Bavaria with its many trees that blanket the German peaks, especially in autumn. An elopement in Germany would consist of a beautiful hike, followed by a pint of beer, and ending with a visit to one of the 6,500 museums, 820 theaters, or 8,800 libraries.
